![]() Requesting full refund to BCBS of AZ for the unprofessionalism at this facility. My life was put in danger due to their negligence. I was self admitted into this detox and under no legal obligation to remain. I almost got hit by a vehichle once due to the extremely narrow roads. For this reason, I was left to blindly navigate the rural roads of Lake Arrowhead on a 2 lane highway for miles, with no curb or pedestrian walk path along the highway. I pleaded with them to return my cell phone and wallet so that I may navigate home safely, They refused and proceeded to fill me with mumbo-jumbo as to how my property is on a 72 hr hold even though I am self discharging. I explicitly told them I am leaving, and I am in a rural area in which I am not familiar with. Upon informing staff I would be leaving the facility due to unethical practices, I simply requested my personal belongings. Upon leaving the facility my wallet was returned, yet $10 cash was missing. ![]() It is a locked safe in which limited personnel have access to. My personal belongings were stored in a safe until after my discharge. Despite my refusal to sign the waiver for "destruction of medication" a staff member still destroyed the medication. I did not sign the waiver for the destruction of my medication since my psychiatrist emphasized I continue my medication 3 times a day, everyday for the 30 day supply. One of which is the "Destruction of Medication" form. ![]() This facility has waivers and consent forms. ![]()
